
Jim Chaston – President & CEO
Jim Chaston founded Chaston Associates to provide lending institutions with guidance before, during, and after regulatory examinations. He engages regularly with current and potential clients to discuss changes in the market and offer risk mitigation suggestions. Jim writes and edits loan policies for new and seasoned institutions and comments upon risk rating metrics to guide institutions in overall risk assessment and underwriting practices. His risk management suggestions have become industry standard and have shaped many successful operations form their start in the commercial lending environment.

Scott Chaston – Executive Vice President
As EVP, Scott Chaston manages the daily operation of Chaston Associates. He not only provides guidance to clients with multi-billion dollar commercial portfolios, but also drafts analytical notes for team members and clients looking to stay up to date on market and regulatory changes. Scott has aided several large institutions through evolving landscapes.

Amy Lindsay – Senior Vice President
Amy joined the Chaston team in June of 2017, bringing with her more than 30 years of experience in commercial lending. Prior to joining Chaston Amy worked for 12 years at Santander Bank, most recently in the roles of Senior Credit Officer and Regional Credit Risk Director. Prior to Santander, Amy held various leadership positions in the areas of relationship management, loan operations and credit administration with larger institutions including Citizen’s Bank and BOA, while working in the Philadelphia area. Amy got her start in commercial banking as an ABL lender in NJ. Amy is a graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and she earned her Masters of Business Administration from Rider University.
