Chaston Associates was established in 1983, specializing in commercial loan review. As part of delivering loan review  and credit risk management services over this period, we have continued to build on the scope of analysis and depth of  risk assessment as the industry, competition for growth, and economic challenges have changed. Chaston evolves with the credit and regulatory landscape, proactively discussing new challenges with clients to prepare them for market changes as well as for regulatory examinations.

 

Our commitment to independence and integrity is a hallmark of the firm. Our dedicated and experienced staff is one of our strongest assets. Our staff is comprised of 28 field analysts, nine of whom are designated Team Leaders. The majority of field personnel have industry experience ranging from 10 to more than 25 years. That experience includes expertise developed in the positions of senior community bank officers, senior lending officer, credit risk officer, money center bank loan review team members, credit department supervisor, workout officer, community to national market lenders, SBA lenders, and federal regulators. This group of professionals is supported by an IT and administrative staff with expertise in security and technical problem-solving.
